I am not new to Cream Center - since the outlet in Bangalore is my favourite recco to anyone looking for fabulous tasting Vegetarian food. However, we did try the High Street Phoenix outlet, while shopping and taking a hunger break.
Located in the first floor of Skyzone, the outlet is neatly tucked away in a corner, but is as large and rich as ever on the inside. Several sofas against the window, with a little view of everyone walking in and out of the mall.
We decided to go light, but however try the usual suspects - We ordered a Ragda Pattice and a Sev Dahi Batata Puri and Lemonades.
What is absolutely beautiful about Cream Center is how they consistently get the taste right every time. Every plate is beautifully prepared, evidently with care and fabulously fresh ingredients and chutneys, it is commendable. The Ragda Pattice was hot and eventually pretty filling considering the thick, fat pattice. The Ragda is a favourite and I can have bowlfulls of just this and not complain.
The Sev Dahi Batata Puri had lovely large puris, generously stuffed up and the best part was giving us the extra chutneys on the side, so we can make each to our tastes and then devour!
A little pricey definitely at about 250 for just this much, but for quality Vegetarian food, you just can never go wrong here!
